Timothée attended the BAFTA’s last night. You can see images from that, the pre-BAFTA dinner and the afterparty in the gallery. This conculdes Timmy’s promotional/awards run for ‘Beautiful Boy’. Now we just have ‘The French Dispatch’ and ‘Dune’ set images to look forward to.
Timothée attended the SAG Awards last night where he was up for Best Supporting Actor for ‘Beautiful Boy’. Unfortunately he lost once again. But he looked good on the silver carpet and you can see that for yourselves in the gallery.
Timothée is featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue. You can see images in the gallery and a behind the scenes video at VF’s website. Below, you can also find the Quotidien French interview with English subtitles (just click on CC).
Timothée will be on the Graham Norton Show tonight. I’ve added some episode stills to the gallery. When the video becomes available, it will be added to this post. Timmy also gave an interview for W Magazine that features two new images from the first photoshoot of the year. They, too, have been added to the gallery.
How did Beautiful Boy come to you?
Beautiful Boy came to me in an audition two years ago and I was aware of the books. The movies based on two books, Beautiful Boy and Tweak. One’s by David Sheff, who’s the father in this story, and other is by Nic Sheff, who’s the son and was addicted to methamphetamine. I auditioned many, many, many times. I auditioned for the first time in December [2016], and there was a call back process through January and February. Fun fact: I am quite close to Kiernan Shipka, who I did a movie with called One & Two a number of years ago, and her family has always been really, really kind to me. I didn’t really know a lot people on the West Coast when I first started coming out here, so they always took me and really made me feel like one of their own. Her mom drove me to that last call back with Steve Carell.
Timmy attended the Critics’ Choice Awards last night and you can see images from that in the gallery, along with a couple of interviews below. Unfortunately he didn’t win.
Timothée has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor BAFTA for his role as Nic Sheff in ‘Beautiful Boy’. Congratulations to Timmy. I also added some Golden Globes portraits to the gallery.
According to Digital Spy, Timothée, along with Saoirse Ronan and Laura Linney, will be on the Graham Norton Show on January 18.
Lady Bird co-stars Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet will be reunited on screen in an upcoming episode of The Graham Norton Show as the show lines up another stellar guest list.
Triple Oscar-nominated Saoirse will be there to talk all things Mary Queen of Scots, in which she stars as the title character alongside Margot Robbie’s Queen Elizabeth I, while future Little Women star Timothée Chalamet will be talking about his powerful new addiction drama Beautiful Boy.
These guests will all be dropping by the show on Friday, January 18, but before we get to that show we still have plenty of star-studded episodes to look forward to.
Timothée attended a ‘Beautiful Boy’ reception in New York a few days ago. You can see images from that in the gallery. He has also been nominated for both the Critics’ Choice Award and a SAG Award for his portrayal of Nic Sheff in that same movie.
