Two young people arrive in New York for a weekend where they are met with bad weather and a series of adventures. The movie was originally set to be released in 2018, but then pushed back to 2019. After that, Woody Allen was involved in controversy which made Amazon shelve the film indefinitely. The film hwas released outside the US in 2019 and received a limited release in the US in 2020. Due to the controversy surrounding Woody Allen, Timothée announced that he would be giving his entire salary from working on the film to [the charities,] the LGBT Center in New York, Time’s Up and RAINN.
