Months after undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy, former CIA case officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) has found a modicum of peace in her family’s suburban embrace. But the strides she’s made towards mental health are threatened when an asset from her former life comes in from the cold. Meanwhile, freshman Congressman Nick Brody (Damian Lewis) discovers that Abu Nazir may not be content with his nonviolent approach to affecting change in American foreign policy. Brody’s daughter Dana lets a vital secret slip.

Timothee’s character, Finn Walden is introduced at a school meeting when he shares his thoughts on what’s happening in the Middle East. There, he takes interest in Dana Brody after she shares her thoughts.

S2 E02: Beirut is Back

Against the advice of her family, Carrie becomes involved in an operation that may rid the world of Abu Nazir once and for all. Brody’s handler presses the Congressman into service causing his relationship with Jessica to take a hit. Meanwhile, Mike questions the nature of the events surrounding the shooting of Elizabeth Gaines.

Dana and her mother attend a function where the Walden’s are in attendance. While Dana is doing her homework in the home library, she formally meets Finn Walden – who she learns lives in the mansion-sized home and is the Vice President’s son.

S2 E04: New Car Smell

Following a secret debrief from Saul, a stunned Estes authorizes a covert operation to investigate intel recovered in Beirut – but not without putting his own trusted operative in charge of the operation. Brody, still reeling from his misadventures with the bomb maker, gets another shock when he runs into Carrie at Langley.

Dana discovers she has something in common with Finn Walden, who also has his own family troubles. After school, the two go back to the Walden’s house to study and Dana meets the Vice President. Later that night, Finn takes Dana to the Washington Monument and shows off the view from the top.

Brody finds himself prisoner again, but this time it’s on American soil. Meanwhile, Carrie is forced to play second fiddle after her rash judgment call at the hotel as Estes is busy keeping Jessica off their trail.

While on another date, Dana’s relationship with Finn goes to the next level when their date night turns deadly serious after Finn makes some bad decisions while behind the wheel.

Faber gets tangled up with the CIA when he asks one too many questions about Tom Walker. Brody agrees to work with Carrie and Quinn to stop an attack on America, but his loyalty to the United States is questioned when Gettysburg once again becomes a battleground.

When Dana arrives at school, Finn tries to reassure her that everything is going to be okay. Dana visits the hospital and is shocked by what she sees there. Dana confronts Finn at later at school and tries to get him to agree to tell adults about the accident, but Finn convinces Dana that they need to keep it between the two of them.

Reeling from the recent ambush, Carrie and the team struggle to regain control of their operation while Brody and his family attend a fundraiser at a Virginia horse farm. Saul visits Aileen in solitary confinement, hoping she’ll provide key intelligence on the attack.

An anguished Dana pressures Finn to come clean about their hidden crime, but her quest to tell the truth collides with her father’s secret mission in ways neither could have foreseen.

Carrie must decide what her heart really wants. Brody shares a drink with Faber to discuss the future of his family. Saul is tasked with a secret mission and Quinn makes a decision that may change everything.

Finn, friends, family and co-workers attend Walden’s memorial service Brody looks out of the window and is surprised to see that his car has been moved and is now parked right outside the building where the memorial service is being held. As they process what is happening, the car explodes, destroying a large portion of the building. David Estes, Cynthia Walden, Finn Walden, the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security are among the many who perish in the blast.
