Timothée for GQ Magazine

There’s a lengthy new cover issue about Timmy in the new issue of GQ. You can read that at the link, view the photoshoot images in the gallery and see a short behind the scenes video about the shoot below.

The day after the Oscars in 2018, everything that had changed, changed back again. Timothée Chalamet had spent the previous months becoming known. He had acted in a film, Call Me by Your Name, which was critically acclaimed as well as an instant object of cultish admiration—and his performance had made him, at 22, the youngest person nominated for best actor in 80 years. He had, simultaneously, been transformed into the rarest of pop confections—fawned over by younger women, older men, and every demographic in between. And he had traveled without pause on the awards circuit since early autumn, back and forth from New York and Los Angeles, practically living out of the first-class lounge and the lobbies of the Bowery Hotel and the Sunset Tower.

Timothée cast in ‘Don’t Look Up’

According to Variety, Timothée has been cast in a new Adam McKay movie ‘Don’t Look Up’ for Netflix. The cast also includes Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Jonah Hill.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and Timothee Chalamet will join Jennifer Lawrence in the star-studded cast of “Don’t Look Up,” a new Netflix comedy from Adam McKay.

Jonah Hill and Himesh Patel will also star, along with Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi and Matthew Perry. As previously announced, Cate Blanchett and Rob Morgan are part of the cast.

McKay, the filmmaker behind “Step Brothers,” “Anchorman,” “Talladega Nights” and “The Big Short,” wrote and directed “Don’t Look Up,” which follows two low-level astronomers who embark on a media tour to warn mankind of an impending asteroid that could destroy the planet. Lawrence and DiCaprio are expected to play the two astronomers, but Netflix would not confirm.

The movie is scheduled to start filming before the end of the year.

‘Dune’ pushed back to October 2021

According to Collider, ‘Dune’ has been moved from its release date this December to October 1, 2021.

It seems the spice won’t flow until next year, as Warner Bros. and Legendary are moving Denis Villeneueve‘s Dune off its December release date and will unveil the epic sci-fi movie on Oct. 1, 2021, Collider has exclusively learned.

[…]

Dune had been slated to open on Dec. 18, but Warner Bros. recently moved Wonder Woman 1984 to Christmas Day, which seemed to complicate matters. At the time, a source told Collider that Warner Bros. was confident the marketplace could support multiple tentpoles, as it has every year around the holidays, but with no vaccine in sight, Americans have remained reluctant to return to theaters even though no new COVID-19 cases have been traced back to cinemas.

[…]

The Dune delay has nothing to do with the movie itself, and Villeneuve is said to have been supportive of the decision having made it for the big screen, which is where Warner Bros. and Legendary felt it should premiere. Neither studio can afford to take a bath on Dune, so not only does this decision make financial sense for them, but it’s a health-conscious choice as well.

For now, you can go and enjoy the completed photoshoot section in the gallery with a few additions.
